Ray's first Birthday!!

I'm very close to giving up on this stupid blog thing!! It's driving me crazy! Every time I figure something out something changes and I have to figure it out all over again. Our camera died so I started using my phone so Holly taught me how to email the picture but then our computer died and this new computer does not like me. So then I had to save them somewhere new and turning them is too hard! I figured it out for my last post but tried 4 times today with no luck so you have to turn your head sorry! Ben hates when I take sideways pictures so I guess it serves me right! Anyway....Ray had a great birthday! He really loved his cake! All his cousins stood around his highchair and watched him! It was super cute! I was a little sad because this is most likely our last one year old! We sure love this adorable little boy! He missed all his cousins who couldn't be there though!

13 years and counting!!!

Happy anniversary babe! I can't believe another year has passed! It has now been 15 1/2 years since we began dating! It's weird to think that I have loved you for 1/2 my life! Pretty cool! Thanks for being such an amazing husband friend and father! You are the greatest! I love how I still get excited when I see you calling on my cell phone like I did in high school...unless the kids are driving me crazy and then I answer the phone with a loud mean "what?" Ha Ha I love how we laugh together at the stupidest things and have so much fun just watching a movie! Thanks for putting up with all my craziness! I'm excited to spend another 13 with you and many more! I love you!

Just wanted to put a cute picture of my honey as he was leaving for work! I love that he has a job that he loves!!! He sure deserves it after working at so many crummy jobs over the years! I'm so grateful to have a wonderful hard working husband! He is the best! Love you babe!

Ray

I can't believe how big our baby is!!! He will be one in about 2 weeks! Wow this year has flown by! He is such a fun little boy! He says Mom, Dad, bye bye, hi, cat, and just learned uh-oh! He isn't walking yet but crawls all over the house...usually with one knee and one foot. He is mastering stairs, waving goodbye, opening and closing doors, and knows how to get his way with everyone in this house! We just love this little boy!

WE HAVE AN OFFICIAL TEENAGER!!!

Carter turned 13 on Friday! I took him out to lunch...his favorite El Cupidos a big jake with extra cream cheese jalapeno sauce. For his birthday he wanted 4 things.....

#1 The new Kingdom Hearts game
#2 His cousin Marlee to come over
#3 My yummy chicken enchiladas
#4 cheesecake

So Marlee came over after school and they sat on the couch for almost 3 hours playing their new games (Marlee got it too for her bday on the 5th from her sweet brother!) They each got it for the DS so they linked them and played together. Then we ate yummy enchiladas a recipe we got from Aunt Brandy! Then before cheesecake time Carter said he started feeling yucky so he didn't have any. Then Marlee started feeling bad so by 10pm they were both asleep on the couch! Poor kids....pretty crappy birthday for Carter! Stupid flu! Now Bailey and Nolan are sick too. Carter hasn't gotten off the couch except to pee all weekend. btw I sang " What time is it? cheesecake time!" like from High School Musical and my kids thought I was a dork! I guess that's what happens when you have a teenager! "

Kids are so cute!

Last Saturday we were driving to Nolan's soccer game and we were talking about where the kids were born. Emmie says " I was borned on the wall". We were laughing and asked her where she heard that. She said " Dad told me." So Ben finally remembered that a long time ago he was looking at a map hung on the wall and showed Emmie where we live now in AZ and then pointed to the other side of the country to show her where she was born. The other side of the map was missing so he put his finger on the wall about where PA would be and told her she was born there.....apparently on the wall.

We have been keeping busy! I'm so excited for Fall! I love this time of year! Our yard is filled with leaves and the kids leave the house with a light jacket on in the morning...Fun Fun! Nolan has soccer games on Saturday and has started cubscouts- which he loves! Ray is all over the place...still just crawling but he's really fast! I can't believe he turns ONE in less that a month! The rest of us are busy with work, school, and keeping up with life but we LOVE it so life is good!!!

Movie night

We love Net flix! Getting a new movie in the mail box is so exciting! We love to lay out a blanket and pop some popcorn and just relax in front of a good movie! We watched Pink Panther 2 and laughed through the whole thing! It was cracking us up. Such silly humor. Ray now loves this fun tradition too. He crawls around on the blanket and likes to get his own popcorn! Funny guy!

She definetley gets this from her Dad! Ben can sleep just about anywhere and with all kinds of noise! I love the first one! Who falls asleep on the back of the couch? So funny!

Just a few of Emmerie's favorite things!

So ya know how all kids love to watch a show or movie over and over? Well I can't complain about Emmerie's. My other kids watched rather annoying shows and characters and I got so sick of hearing certain voices and lines repeated throughout the day. Emmerie loves Stewart Little! We happen to own all 3. Did you know there were three Stewart Littles? The first 2 are the real actors and the 3rd is cartoon but with the actors voices still. They are very comical and I find myself laughing over and over as we rewatch them numerous times a day! I also love the decor of the little house! So cute! One of my favorite lines is...
