12 years!
Yesterday was our 12 year anniversary! Ben took me out to dinner at Enzos. It's a really yummy Italian place by our house that we've never been to. I've been boycotting them because they have mean signs on their door about keeping your kids in line and they only have one chef so it might take a little longer so plan accordingly....anyway I thought they were rude because they are basically saying no kids allowed. We decided Ray didn't count so we enjoyed a great dinner and then went to He Brews for pumpkin pie cheesecake and a raspberry smoothie! Yum! I love that Carter babysits so we could enjoy a wonderful evening together! We've been joking over the last few days saying "12 years later and we still got the heat!" It's really 12 kids and it's from Cheaper by the dozen. Gotta love Steve Martin!

Ray's first bath!
k-so imagine these backwards. They are in the wrong order and I don't feel like changing them. Hey I'm a mother of 5 now and I'm busy! Also I have to say how sad I am my camera ate all of my hospital pictures! Pretty crappy huh?
Ray is such a wonderful baby! He eats and sleeps really well! He has been sleeping for 6 hours at night! I've never had a baby sleep more than 3! Well I guess after 4 I finally got an easy one! Emmie just started sleeping through the night like 6 months ago!

Ray Benjamin
Ray Benjamin was born on Tuesday November 4th at 8:00pm! He weighed 7'4. I got to the hospital at 5:oo and at about 7:35 I was at a 6. About 15 minutes later my contractions were so bad that I asked for an epidural. As the guy was starting the epidural I said "the baby is coming out" and he literally was! As I leaned to the side Ben said the head was completely out and then Ray flew out on the bed! It was so crazy fast!!! Nobody was there not even my Dr. So they scurried around and helped him as my Dr. walked in to help me. It was an insane few minutes but I was glad I didn't get the epidural in the end. I do have to say that even though my Dr. wasn't there she was wonderful during labor. She rubbed my feet and hands with lavender oil and made the baby a blanket! So glad he is here and it's over!
